The DMK Acne Bootcamp is a guided 6-8 week treatment program combining DMK Home Prescriptive products and in-clinic DMK Acne treatments.

Jo’s goal is to deliver significant improvements in your skins health and clarity. With the DMK Acne Bootcamp, you'll gain the tools and support needed to manage and overcome your acne challenges. DMK is a bespoke, prescription-only skin service that is tailored to your individual skin, identifying and treating the cause for long term results, not just the current symptoms.
 
Each DMK Acne treatment will have a specific focus for what your skin needs and treatments are performed every 7-10 days until the course of treatments are completed.
 
It typically takes around 6-8 treatments to get acne under control and to start to see significant changes.  
 
After your acne is under control, it is important to maintain your home-care regimen to keep your acne managed. It is also recommended to come in for a DMK maintenance treatment every few months just to keep your skin functioning as healthy as possible.
 
Your initial appointment will be a DMK Acne Boot Camp Consultation and will include :
 
➕ A full consultation where you will complete a comprehensive questionnaire form that will ask for your medical history, general and lifestyle information, and skin concerns. The form will tell Jo how you are taking care of your skin and give her an idea of what may be causing your Acne or other factors that may be contributing to it.
 
➕ A thorough skin analysis using the Observ Skin Analysis. Observ 520 is a state-of-the-art device that takes skin analysis photographs. It will take six different images to show the various surface layers and the deeper layers of your skin. This way, the we can explore your skin’s progression.

 

➕ Any patch tests will also be performed at the consultation.
 
A professional skin consultation may seem overwhelming, but it will ensure a good start to a new and effective skin care treatment plan and routine.
 
You will be provided with useful information regarding products, nutrition, and other factors that can contribute to Acne, and you will receive guidance on lifestyle changes you may need to consider to help with results.

If you decide to commit to the program you will be given a starter kit of DMK Home Prescriptive products that you will use for 2 weeks before your first treatment appointment.

 

This Acne regimen will give you approximately 2 months worth of products; however, Jo may recommend further products or adjust some products as your treatment progresses, requiring additional product purchases.  A discount will be given on further purchases. 
 
To clear acne, you need clinical-strength products that are designed to penetrate the pores, exfoliate the dead skin cells, kill the acne bacteria, reduce inflammation, redness and strengthen the skin.

DMK Home Prescriptive products contain the highest concentrations of active pharmaceutical and botanical ingredients that mimic the skin’s own chemistry to balance oil production and kill bacteria. The products penetrate deep into the skin to clear existing acne, while preventing further breakouts and will also help with pigmentation/ scarring and skin health.
 
Following your consultation appointment, you will be scheduled for a series of 6-7 treatments to be performed every 7-10 days.  Each subsequent treatment will be adjusted to not only to clear and control the acne but to strengthen your skin and get it functioning optimally now and for the future.
